WTF does it take for Americans of average I.Q. (100, by definition) to 'get it'? Charles Schultz' Lucy pulls the football away 100 times a day and the Charlie Browns of the world just come back for more. It's all just so obvious. I (almost) can't stand it anymore.

Lies, lies, lies, and cover-ups are de riguer for these folks... for example, Tony Snow who's clearly dying of his cancer, HAS TO LIE and say that he's quitting to make more money and send his kids to college. Well, shit, Tony, you obviously were being paid a small fortune by FOX all those years and you didn't put money aside so that if anything happened to you, your kids would be able to go to school? That's either incredibly stupid, or you're lying...which is it? I can guess.

Joe Wilson once said to me personally, in response to my question of why they are compelled to lie about everything, "These guys lie like that just to keep in shape." It's an 'intellectual and cognitive exercise of monumental proportions and they are as compelled to lie as Larry Craig was compelled to look thru the crack in the stall. It is SICK and DISGUSTING - and I'm referring to both.

The one thing that's going to come out of this in terms of history and political science is that the joke about 'lips moving' is no longer a joke. It is a truism.

let's cut all of them a big break, and just let them finish the job they started? I'm not piling on Tony Snow - the point of my post was that since he's clearly sick, all he had to say was that he wants to spend more time with his family. That we'd all believe for a change. But no, he said that he has to leave for the private sector for dollars. OK.

And please do not lecture me as to what I should feel is and is not appropriate. If you feel that way, then so state, but please don't address me as though I am your child or employee. I thank you in advance for your courtesy and cooperation.
