Tucker just shut down an anti-drug warrior on TV just now....

Mark Souder (Dumbass, IN) was discussing some anti-drug ads and he was peddling the big lie about marijuana being a gateway drug and how it was a contributing factor in many drug-related ER visits. He even trotted out the old standby about how the stronger grass these days was akin to cocaine.

And that set Tucker off.

In rare form, Tucker held Souder's feet to the fire and asked him about why aren't there ads about teen prescription drug abuse? Souder fumbled a bit and acknowledged the problem. Then Tucker shocked me by asking the question "How many folks have died because of marijuana use"? The right honorable gentleman from IN reiterated himself and said how marijuana was a contributing factor in many of these incidences. Tucker then flatly stated that he knew folks that casually used grass and that Congressman Souder was totally wrong.

Huh? Was that REALLY Tucker Carlson I was watching?

24. Really, why should drug companies and chemical companies be the only ones who

kill us often without our knowing what their "safe", FDA approved shit does over long time exposer to them. Right now theres a battle going on in Midland Michigan over the effects of life long exposer to dioxins and the health risks people were exposed to without their knowledge. Dow chemical has been dumping dioxins into the rivers for god knows how long and they feel they shouldn't have to pay to clean it up, their excuse, dioxins have settled into the river beds and theres no way to get rid of it now. Whats even sadder is the majority of people who live in the contaminated areas don't believe the dioxins are all that dangerous.

My friend uh, joejoe jimmy joeson has been doing that thing for over twenty years and never felt like moving to another or even a need for a fix, and he has a classic addictive personality trait. I like that question though, who has died or suffered disease from it? Contrasting it with alcohol would be even better.
