1. I just had a great lunch with a cousin

and two of her American friends who are visiting them. This lovely couple (together for 50 years) used to live here for years and have traveled the globe. They were always progressive Dems. They've been back in San Francisco for nine years.

We hadn't even ordered food and he started an anti-Bush rant. They spent two hours describing Bushco's destruction of the planet, his war crimes, the faith based robbery of tax payers money for Bush Inc's ideological war and the blind partisanship that he has created.

I suggested that they join DU. They are angry beyond belief. They adore Al Gore and say he'll win in a landslide.

Yeh the Rethug enablers sure wear rose tinted glasses - Bush and Cheney should have been impeached ages ago.
