Montreal Metro cracking apart

Parts of the Montreal Metro system and a downtown Bay department store were evacuated on Friday after cracks were discovered in the foundations of both the subway and the store. The report said employees at the Bay, part of the privately owned Hudson's Bay Co. chain, called 911 in the early afternoon after seeing the cracks. No one has been injured, but fresh in the minds of Montreal authorities is the collapse of a highway overpass in a suburb last September in which five people were crushed to death.

the story will be on the site later today or tomorrow

I don't know why they do it that way.
