1. I was very disappointed in the last segment
She took it way too easy on Christianity compared to the first two segments.

3. What did you want her to do, hang Fallwell by his thumbs?
I thought she did very well at pointing out the hypocracy of the fundy Christians joining the Jews for political reasons even when they still think each other are going to burn in hell. We all would have liked to see the Christians hit on more, but I think that's because that's the sect we are most familiar with.

4. no, but it the other segments she at least gave some history of the religions
The christian segment started in the 20th century, and showed nothing of the history.

5. She may assume a familiarity if this was made primarily
for an American audience..(Although some of its history would probably come as a shock to some of the more delusional fundies)

6. I feel like they avoided mentioning the history specifically
because they wanted to avoid the fundie uproar if they did. maybe I've just become too cynical?

2. Christiane is great! I'm always quite impressed with her work, but
I can't think of anyone else who could have even done this series, and certainly not nearly as well!

I watched it when it was first on. I also sent out a number of emails to friends who I thought may not have seen it.
