It was hilarious. The boy was definitely deep into paranoid land. The explanation was that he scored a sizable sack of weed (a half-ounce or more), made brownies, and he and his wife munched the whole batch in one sitting. Then he obviously got the paranoids, and it was pretty much downhill from there. I'd have felt sorry for him except for the vile way he scored, and the fact that they went pig-out in spite of any reasonable caution.

2. I took two bites of a pot brownie once -- I thought I was going to die!!

I don't know how much pot was in the brownie, but my heart started racing and I couldn't control my hands...I've never felt like that after a couple of bong hits.

Generally, brownies aren't that different from smoking, though it takes longer to feel the buzz, and is often more intense. On the other hand, I smoked some dusted weed once (I didn't know it was laced) and had an out-of-body experience, and then it went downhill from there. Once I found my head and screwed it back on, my "buddy" the practical joker was in deep shit. Sounds like you may have been given some kind of augmented brownie, beyond pot, that is.

The first "brownies" I made used a quarter ounce of good Hawaiian and an 8" pie pan to make ginger bread. No additives.

We split the bread between us. Wow. We were f-u-c-k-e-d up and it was not going to be a nice, moderate buzz.

If you've never eaten that much quality pot you have no idea of how different the buzz is. It is a night and day different.

We were suitably chastened afterward.

17. No, she just liked to make friends with the cops. But here's a funny story how she met one.

After we got our swimming pool installed, she called the local police station and asked them what the local laws were regarding nude sunbathing.

She explained that we had a pool, and a fence, and wanted to know if she could get in trouble sunbathing naked on her own property, inside the fence.

The cops said no, it would be okay.

And then five minutes later, the cops called back, and all my mom heard was the taped record of her phone call to the cops, and a bunch of them laughing out loud while they did it.

And all summer long, cops would slowly cruise by our house, right along the fence, probably hoping to catch a peak.

I heard the 911 call. It was hilarious! He said he thought they were dying because everything was moving so slow, but then managed to tell the 911 operator about a sports score on TV.

I had a friend whose husband called 911 when he was feeling weird after drinking and smoking some pot. They were going to send the ambulance out and she told them no. They made her promise to take him to the ER instead. She had to get her kids up at midnight and drive him in. She was pissed!

He and his wife should have watched the Hans and Hans cooking show on YouTube for their Julia Child moment on cooking with mj. Or made two batches of brownies...one for getting high and the other for the munchies.

So much disinformation surrounds this whole issue. It's really a shame because why should people have to be afraid to ingest an herb that doesn't kill them? I think I read in The Botany of Desire that property seizures from mj arrests were the main source of revenue for some towns. The guy who wrote Reefer Madness mentioned that too, as well as the ways the law is unevenly so that someone who has a small amt of pot may go to jail, but if your dad is a republican senator and you are dealing major drugs, you walk.

just one more example of the bullshit that keeps the corporations free of competition for things like plastic, steel, paper, rope, herb, medicine, etc. etc.
