So now the lesson of Vietnam was that we pulled out too soon?
Is that what our right-wing, authoritarian, pseudo-fascist president is telling us today?

NO Governor Bush - The Lesson in Vietnam was that wars based on trumped up charges, lies, and bullshit, are NEVER worth fighting.

So we left Vietnam too soon? Easy to say from a draft-dodging cocaine snorting socialite, that lived that time in the safety of a champaign unit in the Texas national guard...

Have I mentioned today how much I HATE this motherfucker?

Oh BTW. September 11th.

If Bush can insert it into every conversation, so can I.

7. And then he escalated the war
Which is why, IMHO he was almost impeached and had to resign. People were pissed about his lying about Viet Nam and Watergate was the excuse to boot him.

Too bad we don't have a congress anymore

14. Those folks on the roof of the U.S. embassy didn't much want to stay..
Easy for the deluded chickenhawk deserter to talk about how others should have remained in Viet Nam while he was scared to go in the first place.

Fuck off chimpy!

15. What's wrong with you? Don't you know that if we had continued our attempt
to occupy Vietnam, for at least 50 more years, we'd have created a country where the people could have lived in peace and became a favored trading partner with us! If Bush had been president in 1970, he'd have 'supported' the troops and made sure that no one left alive.

16. Of course
Had we killed everyone in SE Asia and repopulated the region with white Methodist car salesmen from Dubuque IA then we wouldn't have any troubles in the region right now, would we?

:sarcasm:

Leaving just enough alive to do all those jobs that 'Muricans won't do.

I mean Vietnam is pretty much universally considered our greatest fuck up (until Iraq eventually becomes it) by all sides isn't it?
