Bush: Fate of Iraqi government rests with Iraqis
Excuse me for not posting this in a more timely manner. My eyes kept watering up from laughing hysterically at the president of what use to be the United States.

"MONTEBELLO, Canada - President Bush acknowledged frustration with the troubled government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Tuesday but said it’s up to the Iraqi people to decide whether to continue supporting him.

<snip>

“The fundamental question is, will the government respond to the demands of the people,” the president said. “And if the government doesn’t ...respond to the demands of the people, they will replace the government. That’s up to the Iraqis to make that decision, not American politicians.”

Stop it Dubya...you're killing me.

as a nation.

Their legislators represent no national parties but only a brazilion very local concerns.

There is nothing holding this government together: it was set up to fail. This government has no POWER so how big a surprise is it that they can't bring the country together?

Kiss my remote, Junior. I'd need to be 'way more stoopid than I am to believe you have any grasp of the situation on the ground.

4. It's sort of like watching cotton candy being made
and has nothing to do with democracy.

(We knew that!)
