2. But Ted Haggard, churches that burn down not from arson,
Edited on Thu Feb-08-07 06:23 PM by Rabrrrrrr
"Biblical" communities destroyed by a Tornado recently - none of that is "wages of sin".

:eyes:

Or the other side: Jimmy Carter still alive at old age; Warren Buffet still old AND rich as hell; and other liberals who grow old, are rich, have power: if there were "wages for sin" (according to rightwing logic that to be liberal or to help your neighbor is "sinful"), none of these guys would still be alive.

Fucking assholes.

6. Did she eat some shellfish while she was in Florida? That's The Bible's idea of a sin.

13. As a Christian, may I ask you to stop twisting scripture?
How dare you twist scripture over the tragic death of one
of God's children.
Shame on you.
Shame.
Do you know the sin that Jesus hated the most?
HYPOCRISY.

10. You'd think
that these people would've heard of "Judge not, lest ye be judged." (And yes, I do realize how hypocritical it is for me to say that...just thought I should throw that out there, though.)

12. There is no such thing as Sin.
And it's a fucking shame that the Augustinian Notion of it has been allowed to control so much of the world over the last 1500 years.
