He's been all over the Anna Nicole Smith story. During this time, he has exhibited his usual cadences, repetitions, and pauses, all for 'dramatic' effect. Usually, I'm annoyed by the breathlessness b/c I'm waiting to find out what the heck is going on with the House, or Senate, or even the harsh weather somewhere, but for him to be so overwhelming in his tone about this post-mortem with absolutely no new information is just revolting. He announces a statement from Hugh Hefner as though the Lord High Executioner just handed down a dictum.

If you want to see real professionalism, but the DVD of the first 4 hours of the news coverage on November 22, 1963 as done by the correspondents of NBC. My God, have we fallen down.

Are, sadly, nothing but entertainment shows. Anna Nicole Smith's death is great material for the next few days, so get ready.
