2. Yep- when they are flying "united" its very easy to see them
By the way this is in response to your "two moon" thread...at least people can have something to look up at the sky for!

3. I hosed up the two moon thing
but nobody's at fault but me, and one can only benefit from some forms of humility.

I recall Mars being quite bright back in April.

4. The Station alone is very bright.
The best time to see them is just before or after the Shuttle docks. You can see the Shuttle chasing the Station across the sky. I have seen it twice now and it's an amazing sight.

6. I saw the chase last week at the lake. Was fantastic!
First came the ISS, then the shuttle, about 2 minutes behind, in hot pursuit.

8. It really is neat!
They were about that far apart the first time I seen them. The second time they were just about to dock and were about 2 finger widths apart.
