Is it just my 'puter, or are DU pages loading really s-l-o-w-l-y, if at all?

I also have an automatic update downloading, so that may

be why it's been slow for my computer. It's almost finished! ;)

I doubt that it is your computer. I'm on an eMac with a T1 connection, which is usually very fast.

I'm running filesharing the the background, and it's my first full day of using Sprint wireless broadband instead of cable.

I'm happy as a clam!!!

Actually, it should be running slightly faster now that all the avatars are the same. Your PC just has to load one picture and display it a bunch of times instead of loading a bunch of pictures to display once each!

14. I like my wireless broadband...

I use it in two cities (on the laptop) in the one city is faster than my old cable modem, in the other city - where the network is not yet fully running it runs somewhere between the old modems and the cable modem speed. I love the convenience... don't need a hot spot (and/or a pay per minute sort of arrangement) - just anywhere in the country plug in and log on!

I've been on it since January. Hope you remain as happy with your service as I am with mine (I am also on sprint).

at first I thought it was MediaCom because they are the worst ISPyou could have, even the top of the line broadband. But even ancestry.com loads fast so it can't be them.

I cannot get on gmail today and youtube vids are just making the spinning loading icon and no video, rawstory loads slowly and the ads do not seem to load at all. (Not that I am complaining about that)

Wonder if it is some certain ISPs or just general problems somewhere.

18. I've been seeing longer than normal pauses on 'blogads'.

But I watch the lower status bar on my browser to see the "connection" "locating" "transferring" messages.

Right now, it seems OK.
