A few moments of beauty...(dial-up warning)

We have seen so much ugliness, hate and death over the last 6 1/2 years(thanks to the Repugs) that I thought it wouldn't hurt to take a deep breath...pause and reflect on the wonder that is Mother Nature.

It's comforting to know that so much beauty still exists in the world...

I feel the same way about stuff like this. It is ointment to a bruised soul. I feel the same way every time I see one of those gorgeous hot-orange/red dragonflies in my back yard. If the ecosystem is still supporting delicate life forms like that, maybe we aren't completely damned.
