Did anybody see "Bastards of the party" on hbo or hear about it on NPR?

it was really interesting, it traces the history of the black panthers, the bloods and the crips, the fbi involvement of 2 killings of prominent black panthers at UCLA and it also talks about the iran contra cia drug running.

1. Watched it last night

It was very interesting. I learned a lot.

2. me too, i found almost by accident, excellent viewing and i think it's

available on demand as well.

3. We watched part of it a couple nights ago...

It was fascinating. I was particularly interested in the cocaine drug running part of it. It all makes such perfect sense.

4. that part and the fbi interference into the black panthers was intriguing

and confirming of lots of things i had thought, especially the contra thing.

6. A great film. Highly recommended for it's history and insights.

My wife and I watched it last night and were riveted the whole time. We are not easily dazzled but this is really worth watching.

7. i'm so glad to hear that, my sister heard snippets of it on NPR today

it was so weird, she asked what i watched last night and told her and then we discussed it for over an hour today.
