Update on the case of the 8yr old scalded to death
From this thread:

Stepmother denied bond. Good.

The boy told Smith "that mommy wanted to hide Sarah's bruises because daddy was coming home, and she didn't want him to see them."

The boy further told Smith that Erica Brennan put Sarah into the tub, and the girl began screaming. The boy said his mother pushed her back into the scalding water every time she attempted to get out of the tub.

6. I can't imagine what that child went through.
And her life must have been hell too.

The statement from the step-brother that she (the beast) was trying to cover up the bruises.

7. I try to live a non-violent life. But if I come across someone beating a child or animal?
Just watch this pacifist open a can of whoopass.

3. What I don't get is the little girl's father standing next to his daughter's murderer in court.
I don't understand that at all.

Denial is a mighty river, I guess.

4. How hot must that water have been?
Surely it must have been hot enough to burn even the mother's hands.

Damn what a sick world...
