* claimed today that housing market is doing a "soft landing"
Edited on Thu Aug-09-07 08:59 PM by The_Casual_Observer
This predictable statement falls right into line with every other false claim that the idiot has made in the past. If he is making a claim like that, we're in for a rough ride.

1. He also claimed that if he didn't see it, it isn't torture.
And he said that not only did Alberto Gonzilla do nothing wrong, Congress never said he did anything wrong. Projection, denial and acting out. They go hand in hand.

6. He is out of his frigging mind. But we already
knew that. I am afraid of what the future will bring in regards to the housing market.

3. Not one damn thing will do a soft landing
Until this damn administration gets its head out of its collective asses and starts to deal with the problems in America and on American soil. Alternatively, there's impeachment and a war crimes trial.

4. That's only because true panic hasn't hit yet
among speculators. When that happens, it's not going to be that soft a landing. When the speculators who snapped up real estate with interest only loans and ARMS, thinking they'd be able to unload for a profit before they reset, start to realize they're going to be shelling out a lot more than they can afford every month waiting for prices to rise a little, they are going to panic.

Housing was so overbuilt in so many markets that it's going to take a very long time for them to rebound, if at all.

10. A helicopter crash in Iraq (after enemy fire) is often called a "hard landng."
So it isn't surprising.
