Heard this morning on NPR (don't have time to find a story for it because class starts in 10 minutes and I won't be available for another 2 hours so if someone else can pursue this, it would be great), with all the new rhetoric on pursuing alternative energy and energy independence from the SOTU this year, * has only put an increase of 1% for R&D/Science in the federal budget he has proposed this year. He and the Republics need to be called on this before this critter gets out of the gate. Pronto.
