1. Hmm, more people should look up words in their dictionary's, it shines
the light on seemingly small words and brings them more to life.

2. Then I'm sure you have 67 Senate votes in your pocket, right?
Wait, you don't? Probably not even 50? Then that makes all the impeachment squacking another word: bullshit.

3. Excuse!
1) The Senators who refuse to impeach are excusing the president of his crimes.

2) You are enabling those Senators by excusing them.

Ergo, your reason for not supporting impeachment: Nothing but an excuse.

5. Again, bullshit, but at least only half bullshit this time.
"1) The Senators who refuse to impeach are excusing the president of his crimes."

Duh.

"2) You are enabling those Senators by excusing them."

Now this is bullshit. Do you think that the Republicans care one damn bit about what any of us thinks, or the general public for that matter? Of course not. If they did, they'd long since have brought Shrub to heel. The first and foremost rule of being a Republican is adherence to authority, always, and the only chance of scaring up Republican votes for impeachment is for them to think that it's the only way to save their own political careers, and even then it's a pretty slim chance. Republican politicians are the hardest of the hard right, and getting 17 of them to side with impeachment before Bush's term is over anyway would take nothing short of a miracle.

And yet, most people here stomp their feet and pretend like somehow it's the Democrats that are to blame, like they could just wipe away the Bush presidency with a wave of their hand if they could.

4. Here is the biggest excuse:
Congress legitimized every reason from impeachment. Last weeks pathetic display about wiretapping was the last nail in the coffin.
