DU Legal Eagles: Will any of the fired attorneys file wrongful term suits?

Was wondering if any of the fired attorneys file wrongful termination suits? Of course we're told their dismissals were performance related, and it appears a good way to get that bullshit out in the open would be to file these suits. Or, as federal prosecutors, are they exempt from filing suits of this type? I honestly don't know, and was curious who had expertise in this area.

1. Iglesias is not going quietly
but I don't know if he can file suit since he does serve at the pleasure of the president.

His firing, like the others, was unprecedented because it was for politics, not for cause. However, I doubt he has a legal leg to stand on.

He's making noise, and that's a good thing. Although the firing of Carol Lam was the most egregious, meant to shut down a very explosive investigation (it failed, apparently), the firing of Iglesias can be most easily traced to petty partisan politics.

3. I think they are blocked, being political appointees.
Like a cabinet member.

4. Wrongful termination won't fly but slander might.
