Is there a pill to prevent men from conquering the world?
Why do males always want to conquer the world? Is it a territorial thing in our male genes going back to the reptile days? Is it a mammalian thing that the male of the species must urinate on the perimeters of his territory to keep all other tribes away? Why are there always Alexanders, Caesars, Khans, Napoleons, Hitlers, Stalins around, stirring up shit?

Is it a disorder that can be controlled with a pill, sort of a reverse viagra? Do YOU feel like conquering the world? Are you plagued by visions of grandeur and power? Are you jealous of other countries, are you envious of their resources? Do you always want to launch attacks and air strikes on your perceived enemies? Maybe you should ask your doctor about 'Conquerin'.

How many men out of one hundred are afflicted with Alexander's Syndrome, and more importantly, what can society and humanity do to cure this accursed affliction that plagues so many men?

1. No, no, no...
It's "Conquex."

It's gotta have an X in it. It's like a rule or somethin', man.

They've got the super-villain disease.

3. "Conquex.", helps you relax & saves millions of lives.
Possible side effects include rectal bleeding, intense spinal pain, total loss of sexual funtion, projectile vomiting and uncontrolled urination, don't take Conquex if you are a homo sapien, or pregnant.

2. Not all societies are patriarchal in nature, History shows some were matriarchal.
I guess the reason most societies are patriarchal in nature simply has to do with average physical strength. I'm sure if physical dominance wasn't an issue, you'd see more matriarchal societies, but humans suffer from the same affliction of greed and power lust regardless of gender. Women can be powerful and destructive and ambitious as well, such as Queen Elizabeth or Catherine the Great.

16. I guess you missed the whole Victorian era then...
Queen Victoria, England... arguably on the top 2 right there with king Philip II as the rulers with largest land mass of empire under their belt. She carried out the longest most extensive expansion of the British empire.

Other notable "expansionistas" are Queen Isabella of Spain, Elisabeth I of England, and Catherine the Great of Russia. All presided over aggressive expansions of their empires.

The classical world also had its share of powerful warmongering female power figures: Nefertiti and Cleopatra come to mind in Egypt. Sammuramat in Assyria.

In recent times we have also had powerful women who have at some point or another waged war or fairly aggresive policies, two recent examples are Thatcher in England, and Golda Meir both of whom were war presidents. Although they were defensive wars for the most part (Falklands and Yom Kippur).

The point is that aggresion and war are not treats unique to males. Women can be in their own way as destructive.... :-)

4. I doubt it, but a sharp knife would do the trick. Say it with me...

...Castration!:hide:

I bet the threat of Castration would be 500% more effective at stopping 1st degree Murder than the Death Penalty.

10. while i wont argue
that more of it can equate more violent tendencies ...
people have different levels of it.
infact , ive read that over all males are infact decreasing in the amount each generation.

i hardly think that the chemical is the ONLY factor in wanting world domination though.
id imagine its a conscious thought, not a whim on a high of a natural chemical.

so,
violence yes.
conquering / domination no.

17. American males have seen a decline in their levels of testosterone...
There is a price to be paid when we are growing hairless guys with female soft features. Testosterone levels keep on falling, there is no direct correlation between aggression and testosterone. There is however a sharp increase in male enhancement and sex drive inducing pills, make the connection :-)

And the whole Bush cabal is not an all boys club. Dr. Rice last I checked is a female and one of the pivotal elements in the war engineering that has characterized this administration.

13. I can remember
around 1969, when Yoko Ono said that if she could have had Hitler in bed for a week, he would have been a peaceful leader. (In 1980, she said that it may actually have taken a bit longer, but she still felt she could have helped him.) I think that she was making an extremely important point, though in her unique way.

(...or I suppose in some cases, another guy.)

I know I feel a lot less need to assert myself when I'm in a loving relationship. I've seen my friend's attitudes improve immensely for the same reason.

Fortunately, unlike many, I also have self control when this isn't the case, which is most times.
