5. Like he wants to kick some Pentagon ass.

As far as I'm concerned, he is the only man who could put together a strategy to extricate us from Iraq while continuing to use diplomacy to help that country. So sad a man like him doesn't even get consideration; we are forced to choose from a parade of well-connected politicians. (yes, I am a little bitter).

7. If Edwards wins the nomination, I say he chooses Clark as VP.
This has been a prediction of mine for a while now.

13. like a winner
the thing is, I think every candidate might have possibly told him if he stays out that he'll be there VP sidekick...

I hope he runs, or AL. But unless, it's John Edwards for me, maybe Biden or Obama, but John just has built a platform that has a chance of winning and speaks a lot for average joes.

14. Clark would be the anti-Cheney as VP!
He would also be an excellent NSA or Sec State.

15. "Okay, okay, he looka like a man!"
So says Miss Swan (head manicurist - Gorgeous Pretty Beauty Nail Salon)

And I'd say Miss Swan is right.

Sorry, folks - I know Wes Clark is intelligent, courageous, savvy, talented, articulate, appealing, and a natural-born leader.

But every time I see his face, all I can think is oh, my God, that MAN is gorgeous!

If he were running, I'd vote for him in a heartbeat, based on ALL of his many qualifications as articulated above ...

... but it wouldn't hurt to also have such a gorgeous president, would it?

19. Well, he looks and sounds like someone who Americans
...of all types are ready and willing to listen to. FDR had fireside chats, but Wes Clark looks very natural on camera, explaining to America the truth about the issues facing us.

22. ...and sounds...
...presidential.

Also, now that I've mentioned how presidential he sounds, he does indeed look pretty damn handsome, like a president out of central casting. It's not PC to say so, but whatever.

He also looks and sounds like he has more than a few brain cells to rub together. Unlike certain other presidents I could name.
