The guy who runs the hardware store down the street plays r-w radio all the time. I once called him on it and he told me he listens to all kinds of radio, even Air America. But not once have I ever heard those stations when I go to his place.

So when I'm in there, I'm probably not there more than 5" and it drives me crazy. I can only imagine what this poor husband endured and why he dumped this woman.

I used to listen to Neil Boortz..

Not because I agreed with him, on most subjects I disagreed, often wildly.

At his best though, he does make you think. Something which cannot be said for Rush.

Boortz was a lot easier to take before he went syndicated, less rabid RW stuff and more libertarian.

The only time I ever listened was in the truck and then because I was bored absolutely bonkers by the "music" stations..

When I realized that I was shouting at the radio on a daily basis, I stopped. :D

He probably listens to a few more. I finally had it one day and told him I didn't want to hear what those idiots were saying anymore. He would get so mad and try to tell me so I would get mad also. I yell at the TV when I watch CSpan. I don't need to lost my temper over what fools are saying on the radio. He never listens in the house, he has a workshop.
