I'm sorry--it's true.
What is so fucking sad is that the rest of the country has caught on to his antics...yet Congress is afraid they will be made to look weak and end up looking like a bunch of pussies instead.

11. I think you are right
My guess is that the Democrats are on board for corporate fascism or they are under duress (Bush Co. has made threats behind closed doors). I don't find it credible at all to think this is politics as usual.

6. ....
I guess you should call Feingold a whiner too? And the ACLU?

"The day we start deferring to someone who's not a member of this body ... is a sad day for the U.S. Senate," Feingold said. "We make the policy — not the executive branch."

Likewise, civil liberties advocates said they were outraged that Democratic-led Senate would side with the White House.

"We're hugely disappointed with the Democrats," said Caroline Fredrickson, legislative director for the American Civil Liberties Union. "The idea they let themselves be manipulated into accepting the White House proposal, certainly taking a great deal of it, when they're in control — it's mind-boggling."

12. Democrats were told that the next Terrorist Attack will be blamed
on them if they didn't give Busholini everything he wants. Same as the IWR vote. Most Dems cave in to it every time.

13. If Bush were as aggressive/cunning as Adolf Hitler, he'd be tearing to shreds the Democrats.
If this is the best the Democrats can do, I'm unimpressed.

15. Democrats fold like cheap chairs , not quite
they snap like twigs beneath an elephant's foot

I'm telling you know - if the dems don't get their spines and balls permanently re-attached - come spring of '08 you will see support for a 3rd party independent candidates that will make the 1992 groundswell support for perot look like grammer school spat.

and it won't only have an impact on the presidential race - it will also hit house/senate races too.

the danger in this for country is that we will flock to someone who tells us what we want to hear, but will do whatever the "fuck" he/she wants to do with the newly aquired imperial powers.
