Climate conference in September to steal Gore's thunder?

The United States has unveiled plans for a high-level conference on global warming in September that would bring together the world's biggest polluters to seek agreement on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

That it is being held in the last days of September is interesting. Of course Gore has much more going for him aside from his commanding position on Climate Change. Still, I think this may be an indicator that the WH is anticipating a Gore announcement. Nothing ground-breaking will come from the conference, but you can bet that MSM will cover it more than they did Live Earth.
