NEW YORK (Aug. 2) - Just over two-thirds of Americans believe the country is either already in recession or headed for one over the coming year, according to a new poll conducted jointly by The Wall Street Journal and NBC.

3. Yep. It'll be propaganda 24/7 from now on.
Once the editorials change we'll start hearing from long-time WSJ readers, but their voices will fade over time.

I'm very thankful for the internet; other sources of news are dead to me.

4. The editorial staff has been rightwing for a few years now
It's the reporting side that was unbiased and will get thrown to the rightwing.

Already there is indications of how reporting will be going rightwing.

A member of the five-strong committee designed to protect the editorial integrity of the Wall Street Journal runs a foundation that received a $2.5m (£1.2m) donation from News Corporation, it has emerged.

2. The only thing holding up the economy was the damn housing market.. .
... and now that's tanking. You can't have a fake economy that exists on expanding consumer, corporate and national debt. At some point, you have to get more money from other cuontries than you give them.
