So many crimimals, crimes, so little time to make it right. I wish I had a suggestion, or knew how the courts worked, but I think it's all politicized by now.
I would love to be proved wrong, but my optimism is fading.

After reading this thread, my optimism for bringing these criminals to justice after the '06 elections has been put to rest:

Justice will not be served.

3. It's Always Been Putting The Brakes On This Regime
A year ago, if you had predicted the Democrats would control the Senate, people here would have laughed at you. The problem is how far down the Democrats got...and how the Repugnicans took every advantage and blew it. In many ways, the Democrats didn't win last years elections as much as the Repugnicans lost it with all their arrogance and corruption.

It's always been political...but never to this extreme. This regime has set itself up like a criminal enterprise...infesting every nook and cranny of the federal government. No one could expect it to be cleaned out in days or weeks. Up until January, much of what we knew of the criminality was either indirect (leaks) or through the total corruption of goons like Abramoff and Foley who got caught. We still have no clue to the extent of the corruption here...and with small majorities the options have always been limited.

The priority is to do whatever we can to slow down and distract this regime...get into its head rather than it getting into ours. A lot of what we're seeing going on by this regime is a byproduct of Democrats taking control and they're reacting like caged animals. You can't go after this tiger straight on...you'll get mauled by the corporate media...thus it's keeping the tiger penned up and you tired it out...wear it down.

We need to push on breaking the Senate fillibuter and force the Repugnican WINOs to give us up or down votes...then force booshie to veto his own fundning for his war for profit.

In the meantime, it's not a bad idea to start getting involved in upcoming campaigns...especially for House and Senate seats. Adding 15-20 more Democrats to the House and 5 or more to the Senate...along with a Democratic President will open the floodgates to investigate, indict, convict and impeach.
