Everybody's looking for a hero
We can't pin all our hopes for impeachment on one person, like Russ Feingold or John Conyers or Dennis Kucinich or Nancy Pelosi, and then swear and stomp off angry if they don't do exactly what we want. WE THE PEOPLE are part of the process too, and we need to keep protesting and keep talking and keep writing, not just to our own representatives but to any representatives who are halfway willing to listen and keep calling and writing until they get the message.

People tend to know their own representatives best. Being from Feingold's state, I know he is not the type to lay his cards on the table- he is cautious but he has been right on just about everything concerning the war since day One. And I don't see anyone else out there calling for Censure or Impeachment so I don't see how people can beat up the one Senator who is actually trying.

Feingold listens, and he tries to build consensus. He wants to do what the country wants, not to be the maverick from Wisconsin. I'll bet he would love to say he got 5 million emails from Wisconsin on Sunday supporting impeachment and 50 million from across the country.

So instead of bashing him, WRITE HIM or EMAIL HIM. He reads and is responsive. http://feingold.senate.gov/contact.html

But don't lay it all on Feingold.

3. I guess it may sound silly to point out that he READS
but I think he was the only one who actually read the Patriot Act and thus decided to vote against it.
Arlen Spector was sleeping and Bush was finishing My Pet Goat.
