Prominent broadcaster; boys club director arrested (soliciting hookers, possession of marijuana)

KINGSTON, N.H. -- A prominent New Hampshire broadcaster and the head of a Boys Club in Massachusetts were among six men arrested yesterday in a prostitution sting in Kingston.

Those arrested included 54-year-old Richard Osborne of Concord, the play-by-play announcer for U.N.H. hockey who also is the communications director for New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord. Police say he was arrested after showing up at a would-be brothel that police set up as part of a sting.

Also arrested was 43-year-old Shaun Menzie of Atkinson, the executive director of the Boys Club of Haverhill. He also faces a marijuana charge.

The men were charged with soliciting sex online for prostitution. The charge carries a $1,000 fine and up to a year in jail.

Sounds like entrapment to me. Glad the NH cops have nothing better to do than to bust adults in sophisticated prostitution stings.
