I heard Randi Rhodes talk about the pipes bursting yesterday and scaring everyone. She said the buildings were shaking and the noise it created lasted about 10 minutes. She said people of New York were just looking at each other thinking 'Is this another attack like 9-11'? But what I really liked is how they all thought 'Damn that Bush for putting us all at risk'. This is funny because I keep hearing how Bush's ratings improve whenever there's a scare. But I find myself thinking the exact opposite 'Bush has put us in such danger'. It's nice to know, most everyone agrees.
2. New Yorkers have never thought Bush was keeping us safer, never, that's
why they overwhelmingly didn't vote for him in 2004. They didn't need the new intelligence report just released to let them know President ClusterF has done nothing but make the situation 1000x worse. I say this as a former life long New Yorker with many friends who still live and work in the city.
