Forum poster solves the adultery problem: Execute the cheating spouse.

"The legal principle is that the welfare of the child comes first. Wouldn't the world be better if we adopted the Old Testament model and tried and executed the cheating spouse? That way the children would have the benefit of the good parent as a role model. And there would be a powerful deterrent effect on sin and immorality."

7. Get thee behind me!
Everyone knows there's no such thing as DNA. God creates every one of us with His own hands. He has a workshop bigger than Norm Abram's.

8. What? Create single parent households? Murder? Old testament?
So we stone to death those who work on the sabbath as it states in LeVITTERicus?

Deterring sin and immorality by execution? Wow that would really thin out the "christian" population would it not?

13. These whackjobs who want to live in a world run by the Bible
should be given exactly what they want. Put them on an island that is ruled by Biblical law. They must obey every single Biblical edict--even when they contradict each other. We'll see how much they love their precious Bible when they have to live by it rather than when they're trying to impose (selected portions of) it on others.

15. Why don't they kill the child as a sacrifice and put the poor kids out of their misery?
The Bible says it's okay to do that too.

17. READ the link- the quoted poster
is an asshole alright.

But the other posters give him grief- which is at least something.

It sounds like he's a bit 'out-there' even for that site.

I was expecting to read the others cheering him on.

And as a recovering fundie, i can't figure out where he's getting the "legal principle" that the welfare of the child comes first.-
that ain't in the bible.

I'm delighted that he has gotten grief but for the original sentiment to be articulated even individually is troublesome~!
