Why are these people still in power (the executive branch)?
Edited on Wed Jul-18-07 10:42 PM by mmonk
There is no good reason. We're supposed to have remedies for massive malfeasance, abuse of power, and unconstitutional conduct. The possible answers really scare me. I cannot get comfortable with things. This is such a nagging question with me. All explanations are so weak on their face.

3. Because "we the people" are not anymore. We let it go and we are a very
long way from taking it back. Good enough? No one is comfortable, except those that love to go shopping and take their family to Disneyland. Get with or get out.

4. Somewhat of a simple concept except I didn't give my ok
for them to stay and certainly didn't vote for them. When they get in anyway, I expected those I do vote for to do something about it. Guess I'm sol but still would like to know why.

7. I guess one just has to keep an eye on things
and realize when things start to get helpless, and then have the right timing instincts as to when to leave and call it quits. The activism isn't working. May as well send all these notes and petitions to myself.

5. I don't know if you've read it or not...
but Ferdinand Lundberg's "The Rich and the Super-Rich" learned me good. I refer to it time and time again. You can download for free at the following website, as it's copyright has expired.
