A building has collasped due to a transformer explosion in New York, I thought this would be a major story, but as soon as the media found out it wasnt a terror attack, they seem to have dropped the story.

Seems kinda strange to me.

1. I haven't seen any verifiable source saying a building has collapsed
Have you?

3. Yeah, I'm not getting this at all ...
CNN - usually the first to break into regular programming with the most TRIVIAL of news stories - don't even have a mention on the crawl.

WTF?

7. Dick figured out that he couldn't connect Iran, so it's dead in the water.
That's my best guess.
Probably not too far off from the truth either.

Way odd.

Edit to add...MSNBC broke into the afternoon news to report on a jet ski accident somewhere...and nothing on this? Stinks.

8. I would assume because most likely there are no injured or dead.
If there were some dead people it would probably be on the news but as it stands it's just a dead transformer not exactly something people care about.
