This must be stated in all emails and posts about impeachment! This is about what is right, this is about or laws, our freedoms and our countries future! Write Republican senators and congresspeople about this and tell them it is also their duty to protect our country. This is not about left vs right. Its about what is right.We need the whole country to see this point. You will never succeed if it is just "the left" calling for this. It has to be an effort by more then one party. It has to be done for the right reasons. It is mandatory that these folks do their jobs!

This is an important time. We cannot allow these acts to continue without standing up. If allowed a free pass, that sets a precedent for this to continue under all Presidents...including democrats...I do not want anyone abusing power in this way, be it a Repub or a Dem. That is the real issue here. It is not about ideaology, It is simply about right vs wrong. When our country (including Repubs) wakes up to this, It makes it clear that actions must be taken. Tell Repubs that this will help them in the future if a Dem gets seriously out of control. These checks and balances are not tools of destruction, but tools of PROTECTION. It is their duty to use them in cases where it is called for. We have to demand they all use them now! If this was about Bush's personal life...I'd never support it, It is about his policies and methods. This is about his work! He is over stepping his bounds and must be reigned in.

against the executive branch. It is also about all of us (freeps included) against a group of very wealthy and powerful people who want to concentrate wealth and power even further.

9. We need to get the media going full tilt.

The media can turn up the heat. The internet can be a tool to stoke the media. Once enough pressure is put on, something will have to break. There is still a place for public outcry and demands. If we do not use every tool available at some point soon, they will slowly take them away. The new weaponry of the people (used to protect our interests) Is information and communication) Long ago the right to bear arms was instituted to help preserve the peoples freedoms. These days the new arms are a mouse, a keyboard and a telephone. It is our duty to use these tools to stop abuse of power. The folks who feel powerless as an individual should organize.
