Summer Recess for Congress . . ????

I'm not sure when this starts but I think they should either stay or cut it short and keep the nation focused on the war and troops and impeachment -- and tons of investigations.

Also, they've voted themselves another $4,400 per year -- !!!!

What is this the 10th time they've increased their salaries in 10 years?

1. I believe they enrolled themselves in

the automatic pay-raise plan some years ago. It's probably almost impossible to stop the raises nowadays. :sarcasm:

3. I don't know if it's still true but

Harry Reid was going to keep some senators in DC and "working" so that Bush couldn't make recess appointments.

I hope he sticks with the plan.

It will be interesting to see if Reid can keep Junior in check.
