Woo Hoo I love pissing off "love it or leave it" pukes
:woohoo: made my day , He got all red faced too

Guess he didn't like my bumper stickers ,, Zoomed off like
he was scared of little ole me

"bush lied many died Impeachment is patriotic"
"annoy a republican defend the Constitution"
"If you still support bush you're stupid"
"warning GOP driver watch for pre-emptive road rage"
"IAVA really support the troops !"
"why do republicans hate our freedom?"
"Al Gore 08"

Those are my stickers that he stopped to look at while driving by
my parked truck. His sticker said "America love it or leave it"

All I said to him was "that's my truck" and "we are free here in America
if you want tyranny maybe you should leave ."

:woohoo: I feel great :bounce:

1. Maybe This Will Wake Him Up...
Maybe not. But Maybe it will.

Maybe you made him feel uncomfortable enough to question the sort of things he believes in.

3. I got called a "Hippie" today!
By a trio of twelvish year olds who were hangin' out on Main Street with nothing to do but make my day. They were spewin' it after I got down the road a piece like it was a bad word. I was walking and I had to be back at work at 1:30 and no later so I couldn't stoll back and ask them "what's up?". :hippie: I was wearing the tie dye tee shirt my daughter bought me years ago in Virgina Beach with the words.."Let The Rhythm Move You" on the front and of course my brass Peace Symbol hangin' from a gold chain around my neck and cut offs. :)

I just yelled.."That's right..Peace Out!" And they yelled it again.."HIPPIE!"

I'll have to call my son and tell him..he's always teasing me about his hippie Mom.

8. That happened to me a few years back
and it was a group of pre pubecent boys hollering "hippie"
like it was an insult ...

I had to tell them that they were incorrect , "My parents were
hippies I'm a love child born in 69 ." I also reminded them that
"Jesus was the first hippie and that I could never be insulted by
being called a hippie"

12. Sweet! Yes, It's regrettable that
I couldn't go back and talk to them at that particular point in time..but who knows I may run into them again in this small town only they probably won't recognize me as my hippie self cause I only wear the Tie Dye about once every two years. :) We Hippies had it right, though(without the drugs)"MAKE LOVE NOT WAR!"

29. Freepers have a very hard time identifying their enemy
They are so used to calling others commies, but they are having trouble adjusting to and hating the 'terrists' for a new enemy. Their Dear Leaders also confuse them by trying to morph their enemies into new words like, Islamo Fascists, to bring back good ole memories of the U.S. kicking ass in WW II to justify and credit themselves.

30. There's this kid who's two or three years younger than me
and lives down the street from me, so I'll see him pretty often when I'm walking home from school. And he always calls me hippie. But I kind of figured out that the only evidence he had to back that up was the clothing I was wearing. And I said, "You can't become a hippie just by wearing certain clothes any more than you can become a war hero just by pinning a purple heart to your shirt."
His response: "Hippie."
So I said, "I would like to believe you, but I don't think I've earned that title yet. I don't think I've done enough against injustice to call myself that. At some point in the future I might have, but at this point, I don't think I am."
His response: "HIPPIE!"
I figured out that anything serious I said to him would be a waste, so now every time he calls me that, I just call him thirty-seven. Just to confuse him.
"Hippie!"
"Thirty-seven!"
"WTF?"

Ah, well.

I figured it out; he is three years younger than me, not two. So this fall he's going into high school... which means I have to deal with him in the hallways too... *groan*

Sounds like your kids repeated some embarassing stuff to people you knew? What's the horror story?

4. I was behind an SUV earlier today...
flags flying on both antennae. Lots of flag stickers, yellow ribbons. I figured, geez, another Bush supporter. Then I got close enough to get a better look.

"A Village in Texas is missing Their Idiot", "If you voted for Bush, a yellow ribbon won't make up for it", "It's my America too".

I honked, and gave him a thumb up. No response...he probably thought that I was giving him the finger. I wish I could have told him that I admired his courage; given where we live, but we went our separate ways.

All in all, a good way to end up the work week in red state Indiana.

5. I love when people use flags etc with anti-bush stuff..
The right likes to think they are America and that bush is
America ....

You can love this country and not like bush ...

You can not like bush and support our soldiers ...

The right doesn't own America and it's time they
were reminded of it .

32. Right on!
 I saw two different Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers today in downtown Staunton, Virginia - traditionally a very conservative area. One was a "Veterans for Kerry/Edwards" sticker, and the other car had a "Because 'Yee-Haw!' Is Not A Foreign Policy: Kerry/Edwards" sticker on it. :) A few years ago, you would've been shot for having those bumper stickers on your car in that area...but to see two different cars with two different Kerry/Edwards stickers on them parked near the farmer's market with their tires intact and paint unscratched, that was really cool. :) I think maybe the tide is beginning to turn (about seven years too late, but still).

39. I've still got my Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker on my '94 Prizm
My other bumper sticker is a "Union Yes" sticker. I am Union and damned proud of it. I keep the Kerry/Edwards sticker on my car as a reminder. There aren't many around here (NE Mississippi) but in the past year or two, I have seen less and less of those "W04" or "W-The President" stickers. I used to see about every other car with a some kind of Bush bumper sticker. I think people around here are now taking them off their cars and though they won't come out and admit it, are ashamed of Bush and are now regretting voting for him.

14. I saw the scariest sign I've ever seen today
I was driving from Tulsa to Kansas City.

In front of a church, one of those mobile marquee signs read "The world hates us and envies our freedoms."

Very "give all you own to the poor and follow me", huh?

No workers rights, no cumbersome restrictions or standards on law enforcement, low, low taxes for the enormously rich people, who can pay people whatever they are desperate enough to accept in wages. It's RWer paradise! Wonder why people are willing to kill themselves to get out of there.
