Half-time Performers, time to give it up
Who is on the friggin' think tank that tries to hire the Superbowl half-time musicians. This whole concept has run its course. We are in the days of personal jukebox iPods - pop radio is sooooo 1984!
People's ears have "specialized" and feel bad when Prince or Paul McCartney or whatever yesteryear star trots out there. Stop it! Think about it, no matter who waddles out there, they will have a ton of detractors. I personally didn't mind U2 or the Stones, but for every one I like - there are 4 years of crap I detest.

It is time for one of these:
College marching bands?
Dance teams?
Strippers?
Disney on ice?
Comedians?
Strippers?

2. You must not have been on DU yesterday.
Prince gave one of the best half time shows ever. And the crowd at the game loved him. And Prince is still making music even though he doesn't get played on the radio because he doesn't do bubblegum music...thank goodness.

Some of the best music never gets played on the radio.

4. R U kidding? Prince was HOT, hot hot.
He's an icon, incredibly talented and a great performance artist. And, he hasn't aged since the 80's.

Prince, you da MAN. LUV LUV LUV YA.

5. I'm no Prince fan,
but the guy rocked the house! There are just too many times I want to yell at him, "Shut Up and Play Yer Guitar"!
This was the best halftime show in years, by far better than the Stones and U2.
