4. I haven't been to Siggraph in many years...

Just decided this year I needed to be there. Emerging technologies. I'm catching flak for it from the SO, but it's my money and I'm going. Plus, most folks in our world are liberals!!!

6. What a great show.

I used to be in the hardware side of the graphics industry.

But India needed my job more than I did, so I'm out of it for a while.

If you remember, drop me a PM with the coolest thing you saw. I love that stuff, and I miss it.

I helped a couple of universities get real time HDTV video conferencing working for one of these type of shows a while back. They had a violin at one end, and a flute at the other, playing a duet in perfect time.

Some neat things happen at those shows.
