This means they give off light that is identical (as far as your eyes are concerned) to sunlight. They are in fact better than incandescent bulbs in this respect.

Seriously give them a try. I recently (about three weeks ago) switched nearly all of my bulbs over and it took less than a day to get adjusted. The only lights I kept as incandescent bulbs were the ones on dimmers.
