How is it that everybody but Melissa Etheridge is on Youtube?

That's weird. I don't know nuttin' about getting video to Youtube but I know that it usually happens instantaneously. I just don't see how that one didn't make it or what's taking so long.

I hope LiveEarth sells a compilation or something. I want to see everything that I missed.

1. I've been shaking my head on that question since we were

all looking for it on You Tube last nite. I don't get it either. There's also technical problems seeing "I Need to Wake Up" on the http://liveearth.msn.com">MSN Live Earth site.

3. I DVR'd everything on Etheridge and guess what? It would not play back.

I have Dish Network and at first I was just rewinding to hear and re-hear Etheridge and then, strangely, I couldn't rewind anymore so I knew that I lost her performance. Normally, I can rewind anything that has been on the same channel for as long as that channel has been unchanged. Then, I set the DVR for the remaining 6 hours and when I came back home, every time I tried to replay any thing from Live Earth, my whole satellite dish went out--it had to be rebooted so I just had to delete what I tried to record from Live Earth--it's all gone and my DVR plays everything else just fine.

I dunno. I was thinking maybe "The Gods" just didn't want me to see Etheridge or something, but the fact that the video won't play on MSN, won't play on my DVR and wasn't on You Tube seems more than coincidental.

4. I imagine that she has a great agent and YouTube was pre-warned.

The music biz is controlled by attorneys and accountants and that is just the way it is.

They knew what she was going to do going in and probably did not wish to be Dixie Chick'd.

5. I don't buy it. She has a host of other videos on YouTube why not this one?

This one is more important than any other she has done--plus, I Need to Wake Up is already on YouTube in the version done for an Inconvenient Truth. I know she would want this on You Tube.
