They need to keep their lobbyists happy and fed! And to keep producing substandard military weapons without adequate armor.

About 3 months of Iraqwar would fund many things. Or we could just not borrow that $$$ from Uncle China.

The CIA estimated in July 2006 that there was a total of 26,783,383 Iraqis. Their per capita GDP is $1,717. Don't you think we could have bought the whole country if we had offered them $23,223.36 per person? It would have been a bargain.
