However his public acclamation that the mullah Ayatollah Komanie was correct when he issued a fatwa calling for British citizen Salman or Sulman Rushdies Death and put a price on his head for his book Satanic Verses criticizing them. From one artist to another or for that matter one human being to another, this to many was unforgivable and I for one have never forgiven him for calling for another mans death over a religious critisizem, because he never apologized nor showed remorse for this twist of logic for the sake of religion. When a religion can't stand the heat and threatens to kill the people who voice their criticizems about them throughout the world....well figure it out. Great respect for his music, no respect for the man.
