Will * get the 1974 Goldwater treatment before the 2008 elections ?

Lately the Chimp has been taking some hard knocks from his own party, and it seems to me that the Repugs are getting nervous about their re-election.

Any chance that the Repugs with half a mind to stay in office will march down to the White House before the 2008 election and ask him to resign ? I sure hope so, if he isn't going to be impeached.

1. No, they'll just distance themselves from him....

and his policies and claim they were never that closely aligned with him all along. They're counting on Americans' notoriously short memory and attention spans to pull yet another misdirection play. The sad thing is, for many it will work.
