Edited on Sun Feb-04-07 09:21 PM by CorpGovActivist
The version I saw on TV targeted Senator Warner of VA - and was damn powerful.

Here's the commercial: http://www.votevets.org/

P.S. Thank you, General Clark!

4. Thanks!
I thought it was national, until the very end, when it called out Senator Warner by name.

8. And Condi too. That probably killed their buzz real fast.

9. For Their Next Ad...
... it would be incredibly powerful to have leg amputees shown with their prosthetic legs, ending with ...

"But the escalation has no leg to stand on."

12. The Symbolism of That Moment...
... was - words fail me.

It went beyond saying that Bush came up empty-handed on WMD (and every subsequent revisionist justification for invading Iraq).

13. If W was watching the game...
he was probably snorting and chugging, while fantasizing that he was Peyton Manning throwing grenades at Iranians.
