Off the top of my head...

Bush signed the Prison Rape Prevention Act into law, which was a good thing.

Bush quadrupled the foreign aid budget to Africa. Okay, there were some catches, but overall it's benefited Africans.

Bush and Powell did shuttle diplomacy between India and Pakistan in early 2001 when it looked like the situation would blow up. You might make an argument Bush did the right thing with the China spyplane downing incident too.

Finally, Bush didn't go and blame all Muslims immediately after 9/11 like most conservatives did, he did a good job of explaining how the terrorists didn't represent Islam.


So the answer's yes, but he's also killed about a million people in Iraq, made the US the bad guys globally and stuck the country in an unwinnable and immoral war.

Bush didn't have anything to do with China, Powell managed that. The only thing Bush cared about in India was outsourcing so Carlyle could make millions. Have you forgotten Bush's ridiculous crusade comment, and his saying God told him to invade Iraq. Bush has lied about the amount of aid to Africa, and most of what there is has strings attached so many people are worst off than they were.
