What keeps them going is hate.

In their threads which discussed coulter wishing death by a terrorist attack on John Edwards, not only did they defend coulter, but attacked Elizabeth Edwards. These are very sick people over there

In the immigration bill, they blamed Pelosi for it, seeming to ignore the fact that it is their "fearless" leader bush is pushing this more than anyone else. They definitely live in an alternate universe

Probably the most revealing thread was their attacks against rommney, not because of his ideas, but because he is a Morman

As I said the one thing that permeates throughout their thread is HATE and intolerance. I guess years of listening to the limbaughs, hannities, and savages, have permantly destroyed their ability to think

We are going to win all both houses and the executive branch in 2008. America is waking up, and they are tired of the lies, distortions, and hate. 2006 was just the start

4. interesting link. However if you look at the y-axis, DU has much more traffic
though whether we are talking about 10000 for them and 15000 for us, that is not my point

My point is that people have started realizing what is happening. 2006 was a small sample. Incidently we were NOT suppossed to win both houses.

The national polls have turned against them

I am not over confident, but do believe that stem cell research, the Iraq War, the price of oil and so many other issues are hitting home. The nightmare is coming to and end

3. What drives them is not hate, it's fear and insecurity
And it drives many here as well.

7. All those attributes feed on each other so it s hard to tell. However
trying to be as objective as possible, in an unscientific way, it sure appeared to me that there was much more venom and intollerance over there. I have gotten into some pretty emotional and heated discussions here, and 99% of the time there is at least a dialog here, and a respect or at least a tolerence for another's view. That sure didn't seem to exist over there in abudance
