Edited to add, the most common one is "Do you believe the same as me?" but most here are more open minded than that.

Don't worry, LibFromWV, some people just live for a chance to feel superior on an internet message board, and I've been guilty plenty of times, too.

But after awhile you start to get to know which people are pleasant to converse/debate with, and which ones probably aren't worth the effort.

The only real "litmus test" is to be your honest self.
