Poll question: What drives you to support your presidential candidate the most
Just curious what is driving people to choose the candidate they have chosen.

3. If I had a candidate that I supported, it would be based on
Edited on Fri Jun-22-07 02:01 PM by FrenchieCat
what he/she has actually done and accomplished in their lives and their motives for doing such........more so than what they say about themselves or what they propose as policies while on an election path.

I believe in reviewing record of action more than having faith in what politicians may say and propose in order to get elected.

The proof is in the pudding.

4. Way he looks in a dress
Yeah guess I'll have to go with Rudy. All the others save one wouldn't be caught dead in a dress. And in her case what would be the point, pants/skirt same difference.

6. The Environment.
When that goes, all this other falderol, these other issues, will get pitched along with the rest of us.

Life as we know it will end within our children's lifetimes if we don't act now. We have a very small window to address the environmental crisis - gets narrower every season. I am not hearing that this is a top priority with our current field of DEM candidates. And of course the would-be criminals on the right aren't addressing it at all.

7. Other. All presidential candidates are on hold until the primaries..........
there is a lot more to learn about all of them before committing support or a vote.

13. In the primary I will not vote for anyone who voted to give bush
the ability to send our troops to Iraq. I don't care where they stand now they will not get my vote in the primary. If we all knew the truth at that time they should have known too.
