For my 1000th post

I would like to thank Skinner and the other moderators for running a great site. We argue, sometimes about picayune things, but when someone is in trouble and needs help, even if only an ear to listen, the posters come out in force. I also post on Salon's Table Talk and while I like their format in a lot of ways, the community is much smaller. If I want the VERY LATEST in news, this is the place to come for ths scoop and intelligent commentary. Especially when there are things like speeches and debates.

Thanks for making me part of your community.

It took me a couple of years to get to the 1000 mark. To those who have 15,000, 20,000 or even more posts I can only say, WOW!!!!!
