Says there's a Constitutional crisis, urges censure for Bush for "his attack on the Constitution."

I'm sure people will find his censure motion a weak substitute for impeachment. However, it doesn't seem inconsistent to me to help Feingold get his censure motion moving while also continuing to work for impeachment. Think about it. Think about how censure might play if it catches fire. Think about polls suddenly asking, do you favor censure or impeachment.

I would take censure if they won't give us impeachment. I don't know about anyone else.

1. Since Feingold is a senator and cannot introduce articles of impeachment,

then censure is what he can do. He tried it before in March of 2006. The trouble with a vote is that the Democrats do not have the 60 votes needed to cut off debate.

A P.S. edit: Senator Feingold is not in favor of impeachment, much to the chagrin of DU Orthodoxy.

and maybe it should have some place on it. When Clinton was being hounded, impeachment and censure were both in the air. Why not with Bush?

PS: I know Feingold is officially not in favor of impeachment right now. Would he be in favor of it if it actually dropped into the Senate's lap?
