Right Wing Watch - Republican Party Census Document

I just got a Republican Party Census Document - apparently they are sending this out to their members (I am pretty sure I am a Democrat) along with a letter explaining that this survey costs $2.48 million and I should send them some money to cover the cost of said survey.

At any rate the questions are all push question.

1. If Democrats try to gut the USA patriot Act and other important laws that promote the safety and security of all Americans should Republicans in Congress fight back? (no - they should resign immediately in disgrace and despair).

Question 3 is interesting.

3. Do you support the use of air strikes against any country that offers safe harbor or aid to individuals or organizations committed to further attacks on America? (i.e. would you mind if we bombed the hell out of Iran?)

I note also that many of these questions are phrased as "Should we fight Democrats on . . . ." I should think even the most dimwitted of Republicans knows the answer to that question. Well, actually i should say particularly the most dimwited of Republicans nows the answer to that question.

7. Check and see if anyone else you know who is either a registered

Democrat or voted Democrat in the primary rec'd the same survey. That should tell you something.

Think about it this way...would the average Democrat take the time to fill out and return the survey or just toss it in the trash? Those that toss it just might have a challenge on their hands come 2008.

The brighter ones know that if they want their voice heard, they have to pony up the dough.
